Excellent work in your “2017 Gallery.” All the best wishes in 2018

  5. Great photos Denise, especially the one with the rainbow and funky clouds!

    • Thank you. When I posted that photo here back in August a reader informed me those are mammatus clouds … I thought they were ‘funky’ too!

  6. Looks like another good year!

  7. So very impressive, beautiful and a delight for my eyes. As I am looking through the images, I say that’s my favorite. No that’s my favorite and on and on. Truly a stunning collection. Happy New Year.

  8. A good idea, and so many handsome images! Wishing you a year full of opportunities for many more.

    • Thank you Lynn! I’ve been doing this for 15 years so I certainly can’t stop now. I am looking forward to seeing what we all come up with in 2018! XO

  9. I love your collection! It’s so hard to choose a favorite. Are you going to do a calendar? I want one when you do! Happy New Year to you too Denise!

    • Thank you Deborah! I always think about doing a calendar and then the end of the year creeps up on me. My painting sister does one so she has the family well-covered when it comes to calendar gifts. Maybe I’ll do a 2019 calendar this spring so I can get it into a couple of gallery shops around here. Happy New Year and thank you for all your supportive comments!

  10. Happy New Year, Denise.
Thank you for your great Gallery of images.

  11. Stunning collection! I’m so jealous. As you know, the quality and composition of your images is outstanding! Something to challenge my own photographic efforts.

    • Thank you so much for your very kind comment! I’ve been working hard at it since before I even had a website. 2003 was the year I moved from the B&W darkroom and got my first digital camera … the Canon 10D … 6.3MP! Since I already knew Photoshop as a graphic designer it was a natural transition. I’ll come look at your blog soon … happy New Year!

      • Thanks Denise. I’ve only just done this blog for just over a year as an experiment. Maybe I will do a “Best of 2017” as well. I’m considering starting to market some stuff on-line such as you have with Fine Art America and pixels.com, but still not sure what themes to choose and trying to choose dozen of tags for each image is not too fun. I’m also planning to make some enlargements to sell locally, but still need experiment and decide sizes and framing and matts. So many choices!! Happy New Year to you as well!

  12. Each one was absolutely stunning, Denise, what a beautiful collection!

  13. Just a wonderful gallery, Denise. Love them all!

  14. What a gorgeous year you’ve had, Denise! You have a masterful eye for landscapes and also for details of man-made objects. I love the snowy trees and “Last Bend” of the train is great! It has been a pleasure following your work. Wishing you a fantastic 2018!

    • Thank you my blogging friend! I love following your work too and wish you all the best in 2018. I’m excited about the adventures and what we might come up with!

  15. It’s hard to make up my mind as to which is my favorite, the rustic car ones are cool but have a thing for snowfall scenery like the ones above. All of them are so pretty.

  16. Sorry that I am late to this party, but have been busy. You certainly have had a banner year. All of your photos are exceptional and I wish I could have been with you to see and capture the same scenes and objects. BTW, will respond to your email soon.

    • Thank you Ken. There’s never any deadline to view my work so no need to apologize! I appreciate your visit and nice comment. And, I’ll get you out here to photograph with me one of these days!
